This Privacy Policy explains how MROSH Consulting LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”, “us”), collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit mrosh.org, contact us, or take lessons with us.
In short
- We collect only what we need to schedule and teach lessons and to take payment.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.
- Information about a child is given to us by the parent or guardian, not collected from the child.
Information we collect
- Contact details: your name and email address when you book a trial, buy a service or email us.
- Learning details: the learner’s level, goals, time zone and lesson schedule; for consulting, any background you choose to share (for example, your education history for a study-in-China application).
- Order details: what you bought, the date and the amount paid.
- Technical data: basic information such as IP address and browser type, which our website host and payment processor collect automatically for security. Our own website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Payments (Stripe)
All card payments, including monthly subscription charges for kids lessons, are processed by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. You enter your card details directly on Stripe’s secure checkout; they are not stored or seen by us. We receive only limited information such as your name, email, billing country, the amount, the last four digits of the card and the payment status. Stripe may use cookies and similar technology on its checkout pages to prevent fraud. Stripe’s privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
Children’s privacy
- Our website and booking process are intended for parents, guardians and adult learners. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13, in line with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- Lessons for learners under 18 are booked and paid for by a parent or guardian, and we communicate with the parent or guardian. To plan lessons, the parent may tell us the child’s first name, age and Chinese level. We use this only to teach the child and to send lesson notes to the parent.
- A child takes part in lessons by live video call that the parent sets up. We do not record lessons unless all participants — and, for a child, the parent — agree in advance.
- Parents can ask at any time to see, correct or delete their child’s information, and can stop further use of it, by emailing mail@mrosh.org.
- If we learn that a child under 13 has sent us personal information without a parent’s consent, we will delete it.
How we use information
- to schedule and deliver trial lessons, lessons and consulting sessions;
- to process payments and send confirmations, receipts and subscription reminders;
- to answer questions and handle cancellations and refunds;
- to send lesson notes and materials you asked for;
- to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to prevent fraud.
We email you about lessons you booked. We send other updates only if you ask for them, and you can stop them at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers we need to run our lessons — payment processing (Stripe), email, video-call platforms (Zoom or Google Meet) and website hosting — and only as needed for them to provide their service, or when required by law. Video-call platforms process data under their own privacy policies.
Retention
We keep payment and order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Other information is deleted when it is no longer needed to provide our services, or sooner if you ask us to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we never handle full card numbers ourselves.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to legal record-keeping requirements. Depending on where you live (for example, California or other U.S. states with privacy laws), you may have additional rights. We will not treat you differently for using them. Email mail@mrosh.org and we will reply within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always posted on this page with its “last updated” date. If we make a significant change, we will email current customers.
